Snoqualmie Pass Surprise Proposal

When Arbaaz asked me to help out with his proposal to Pooja, I couldn’t say no! We pivoted from an urban park to this gorgeous lake with the best mountain backdrop right in the middle of the Snoqualmie Pass area. We decided to meet after work when we’d have the best chance for golden hour and minimizing any suspicions she might have.

I arrived a few minutes ahead of Arbaaz and Pooja to our meet up location. I had a great time pretending (and actually) taking pictures of the lake! Their dog came bounding up to say hi to me and I coyly said hi to the couple as they arrived to the lakeside proposal. Pooja might have had a good guess what was to happen when I hung about, but didn’t fully put everything together until she saw Arbaaz get down on his knee! Surprise! I think their Samoyed was equally as happy.

Arbaaz had booked me for a longer session so they could have pictures of both their proposal and formal engagement. Arbaaz and Pooja finished their lap around the lake while taking some breaks for photo ops with me. The setting sun was incredible and gave the perfect soft summer light. So happy for this gorgeous couple!!
