I'm not like a *regular* elopement photographer, I'm a *cool* elopement photographer!

I'm an engineer-turned-photographer who meticulously researches every trip, so that means you'll get the best, optimal experience from my expertise!

Heya! I'm Cherlyn!

And I love to climb mountains, search for fields of wildflowers, hike amongst golden larches in the fall, bake pumpkin pies, grab brunch with friends.

While I grew up in Washington, it wasn’t till college that I found myself escaping into nature and lugging my camera everywhere -- from skiing off the summit of Mount Baker to climbing up the knife-edge ridge of Eldorado Peak and canyoneering down waterfalls of Zion and Southern Sierras. I'm guessing if you're here, you're into epic adventures too!

I believe that nature is a great therapist and brings out our inner child and that’s when the best candid and genuine smiles happen. That's what makes adventure elopements so special! My goal, as your photographer, is to help you cultivate a meaningful experience to celebrate your unique love.

I know that elopement planning can be stressful, so I'm here to help walk you through everything from location scouting to vendor connections and last minute details. Whether you and and your beau love hiking in the dark just to catch that perfect sunrise or long climbs just to stand on the top of the world, I’d love to be your gal to capture it all! I can’t wait to get to know you, your love story and your passion for the outdoors!

I love to bake!! I document a lot of it on Vanilla Whisk. I spend way too much time daydreaming about becoming a Parisian — or at least watching Taylor Swift perform there. I’m overly optimistic about the ripeness of my wild blackberry pickings. Every week, I volunteer at a horse barn. Thai noodles are my go-to food and I have a sweet spot for In-N-Out
