Do I need prior experience?

But I'm not an elopement photographer

That's okay! You can still use it if you photograph portraits, senior photos, family photos, or even self portraits. The guide just has some additional elopement-specific information

Are these locations suitable for all seasons?

Many locations are accessible year-round, but the guide notes seasonal considerations to help you plan accordingly. Many high alpine locations will be snowy from November - June

Do I need to be very active to use these locations?

No—locations range from easy walks to moderate hikes, all clearly labeled.

Can this substitute a styled shoot?

Styled shoots offer an experience where you are there in-person and allows for you to creatively explore and practice photography, so it doesn't replace the experience you get at a styled shoot. However, it does give you in-depth knowledge of an area that you would pay thousands for at a styled shoot. I highly recommend taking this guide and creating your own styled shoot in the way you want to photograph an elopement.
